I had hoped to wear them driving at night (I have glaucoma and find dazzle a real problem) but they are not suitable for this - too dark, at least for me. In fact they are darker than I'd choose for prescription sun-specs (level 3), but they'd be great in snow or very bright ralph lauren long sleeve polo rice too. Husband comment 'they do the job'.
